Debbie Dery has been in private practice for over 24 years working with adults, couples, teens and families. She works with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services that span from Individuals with AD/HD related issues, Anxiety related disorders, depression and other Mood related disorders, to parenting support, couples counseling and beyond.
In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, Mrs. Dery offers a highly personalized approach tailored to each of her clients individual needs to help attain the personal growth they’re striving for.
In addition to private practice, She has served as a clinical director of a non-profit agency, taught as an adjunct faculty, supervises interns, and has presented many workshops and seminars throughout California. Her training has been in both relational psychodynamic and evidenced-based Behavioral techniques in various areas of mental health. Mrs. Dery's specialty is working with Teens and adults with various challenges such as anxiety, AD/HD, Executive functioning skills, developmental delays, depression, and social skills. Mrs. Dery's subspecialty is working extensively with adults with AD/HD and couples who have children with AD/HD and developmental delays. She uniquely collaborates with many clinical professionals in the community to best serve the whole needs of each family and individual. Additionally, She has the experience and background working with a multi culture population, Familiar with LAUSD and various private schools in the SF-Valley area, Regional Center, and department of mental health. Mrs. Dery received both her B.S. and M.A. in Psychology at the California State University, Northridge.
