Debbie Dery is a highly experienced and compassionate therapist with over 25 years of private practice. Her expertise encompasses a wide range of mental health issues, including mood disorders, behavioral issues, anxiety-related disorders, depressive conditions, ADHD, executive functioning skills, relationship challenges, and parenting support.

Debbie employs a personalized and evidence-based approach in her therapeutic work, tailoring her methods to meet the unique needs of each client. She creates a non-judgmental and supportive atmosphere, encouraging individuals, couples, teens, and families to explore their strengths and challenges. Her relational psychodynamic and evidence-based behavioral techniques contribute to a comprehensive and effective treatment experience.

Having subspecialized in couples counseling, Debbie is skilled in addressing relationship challenges and providing support to couples navigating difficulties. Her understanding of ADHD, executive functioning skills, and her experience in working with individuals with developmental delays make her particularly adept at helping clients with diverse challenges.

As a mother of teenagers and adults, Debbie brings a personal understanding of the struggles parents and children face in today's complex and ever-changing world. Her familiarity with youth culture enables her to connect with clients on various levels.

Beyond her private practice, Debbie has served as a clinical director in a non-profit agency, taught in Masters Level programs, supervised interns, and conducted workshops and seminars throughout California. Her multi-cultural background and experience working with diverse populations contribute to her ability to meet the unique needs of each individual and family.

Debbie's educational background includes a B.S. and M.A. in Psychology from California State University, Northridge. She collaborates with other clinical professionals in the community to ensure a holistic approach to addressing the needs of her clients. Her knowledge extends to various private and LAUSD schools in the SF-Valley and the West side area, enhancing her ability to support families navigating educational challenges.
